God created us with a need to connect with others. At Living Hope, we have formed a family, a community of brothers and sisters in Christ. We love to get together!
Connection is essential to a healthy church family. When we connect with other believers in our church family, we experience the fullness of God's plan for us.
- Connection is important because it reflects the nature of God. God is a relational being, and He created us in His image. We are meant to be in relationship with Him and with each other. When we connect with other believers in our church family, we are reflecting the image of God in a powerful way.
- Connection is important for our spiritual growth. When we are surrounded by other believers who are growing in their faith, we are challenged and encouraged to grow as well. We can learn from each other, support each other, and pray for each other. We can also hold each other accountable and help each other to stay on the path of discipleship.
- Connection is important for our emotional and practical needs. When we are facing difficult times, we need to know that we have a community of people who care about us and will support us. Our church family can provide us with practical help, such as meals, childcare, and transportation. They can also offer us emotional support, such as listening to us, praying for us, and encouraging us.
- Connection is important because it allows us to fulfill the mission of the church. The church is called to be a community of believers who love God and love one another. We are also called to reach out to the world and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. When we are connected to each other, we are better able to fulfill this mission.
